Hello World!
I've been thinking, "It's about time!" Baby steps, right? I started a few different blogs many years ago, and it just got to be too much. I'm interested in many topics, and I tried to write different blogs for different topics. It takes some effort to write so many posts for so many blogs. Now I've settled on one topic: East Asia and the U.S. In particular, I'd like to talk about cross-cultural exchanges and societal migrations between the regions. It's a pretty overarching topic with many different topics underneath, and I'm hoping to cover different things like demographics, history, culture, society, business, travel, food and history.
Like the name of this blog, it's a first step of hopefully a long journey. It's an embarkation of a journey that will lead to many places intellectually. I hope you will join me in this adventure and discover new places, concepts, ideas, and information.
